DOD on Vacation

I’ve been away from my daughter duties. Self-care is critical in this line of work. Though my caregiving duties these days are greatly reduced from full time, I am experiencing what so many children with elderly parents do: even part-time care is fatiguing.

If you would like to read about my camping trip, and see photos, head on over to my website. Specifically, you can link to my blog posts in five parts here:

Part 5

I also took a day trip to my favorite beach this week. You can read about it here.

Winter is coming, and my adventures soon will be restricted. In the meantime, I’m exploring the beauty and restoring my soul.

Also the littles came for practice camping in the yard. It’s always restoring to have them around; and exhausting in a different (and better) way.
